Fertile Grounding Yoga is a program designed specifically to foster fertility through mindfulness. Yoga’s philosophies are combined to nurture your fertile mind, body and spirit. My classes, in Minneapolis, MN, encompass breath work, meditation, and restorative & vinyasa flow yoga poses in each segment.Fertile Grounding Yoga was specifically designed for (but not exclusive to) individuals going through infertility. Through infertility, the stress, tension and angst in the body hardens all aspects of the physical and emotional body. Stress patterns build in the physical body and are not easily released. Yoga releases emotion stored in the physical body softening and opening the body so it is cleansed and ready to receive. Yoga releases tension and stress, detoxifies the body emotionally and physically. Muscles and joints become supple again, the mind, body and spirit unite, and assist each other to bring a healthy state of balance to the body.In 2009 after going through years of fertility treatments with my husband, I created Fertile Grounding Yoga. While going through our treatments, I realized so much was missing from the process; community, education, and connection to the mind, body and spirit. I took my research in yoga, my experience in teaching, research in infertility, and combined them into one program focusing on the mind body connection and fertility.I teach 8 week Fertile Grounding Yoga workshops, a weekly drop in class, individual sessions, and couples yoga classes. 8 Week Fertile Grounding Yoga Workshop
In this workshop, you’ll find support, education, inspiration and peace with your journey. Whether you are in the midst of
fertility treatments, or just starting to walk a holistic path of seeking pregnancy, these eight weeks will be an amazing place for
you to optimize your reproductive health, while nurturing your mind, body and spirit. In each session, we’ll practice yoga,
have a featured educational segment, meditation, guided journal writing, conversation and community building.
**Ideally, join me 3 months prior to fertility treatments, and practice on Wed. evenings in addition to this workshop.
**Bring with you to the workshop a new journal, and 1″ 3 ring binder. Please invite your spouses or partner to attend
the nutrition segment (usually week 2), we will also do a very gentle partner yoga class this evening, so dress to move.
Beginners are welcome!
Weekly Fertile Grounding Yoga Classes
A weekly one hour yoga class focusing on fertility fostering postures, meditation, and restoration for the mind, body and spirit.
Currently this ongoing class runs Wednesday nights at 7:30pm, at The Om Collective. The format of this class is a “Drop in”, so come any time.
**Ideally, join me regularly 3 months prior to fertility treatments, practicing regularly for optimal benefit.
